Sequence 3: At the Restaurant
Scene 1: Outside the Restaurant
(When he arrived at the restaurant he then went into the
parking lot as he parks his Blue BMW Convertible car at the corner right next
to the pink customized Porsche)
(Camera taking shot as his back as He got out of the car,
then the camera turns to wide shot of his whole back as he went his way to the
door of the restaurant)
Sequence 3:
Scene 2: Inside the Restaurant
(Camera shot, full shot of his back as he waves to his
waiter friend and then his waiter friend pointed the seat right next to the
bar) (A blurry shot of him taking seat, camera shots at his back up to his head
as he is looking around he got struck as he spotted the girl whom he saw a
while ago at their subdivision)(The girl looks at him but she did not recognize
him because she does not know him it seems that they are both waiting for
someone)
(He then got up and walk straight to her) (Camera shot
showing his back up to the back of his head)
(While he was about to approach her someone knew him)
(Camera Medium Shot at Wendy)
Wendy: (Looks surprise to see him) “Oh Slater ano ang
ginagawa mo dito…? Sinong kasama mo?”
(Camera Pans towards Slater to reveal his face)
Slater Zhou: (Caught by surprise) “Oh Wendy andito ka
pala…fancy meeting you here…?”
(Camera Medium Shot on them talking while standing;
Camera at their right side)
Wendy: “OO nga Slater ang tagal na nating hindi
nagkikita…(Slater looking everywhere) last time I saw you was still at…oh sorry
may hinahanap ka bang tao?
Slater Zhou: “Ha…ako…ahhmm…wala naman bakit?”
Wendy: Ah mabuti pa umupo muna tayo nakakpagod ding
tumayo…”
Slater: Oo nga…(Then he saw the girl again and he was
just one table in front of him to his left side)…ohh excuse me Wendy…sandali
lang pupunta muna ako ng comfort room…
Wendy: “Okey Slater…anantayin ko na lang muna si Carlo
yung boyfriend ko”
(Then Slater got up and walks towards the comfort room he
went pass by the girl then he twisted his head to the left to take a close look
at her and then went on his way to the comfort room)
(He opened the door and went inside the comfort room
seeing that no one is around he stared at the mirror and talked to himself)
(Camera showing the reflection on his self in front of the mirror)
Slater: (looks surprise) “bakit kaya siya andito, sino ba
yung babaeng yun ? bakit parang matagal ko na siyang kilala…bahala na lalabas
na lang ako at kakausapin ko siya…”
Meanwhile outside the comfort room
Paco Garcia: (opened the restaurant door and walks
towards the girl whom Slater saw, when he reached her she kissed her on the
cheeks) “Hi baby, are you ready…let’s go…sorry to keep you waiting…nasira kasi
ang car ko eh pinasok ko muna sa shop ng taxi lang ako papunta dito kaya lang
sobrang traffic, kanina ka pa ba…?”
The Girlfriend: (She got up and smiles at him) “Yes
kanina pa ako dito, pero okey lang hindi pa naman ako nainip”
(Then Slater got out of the comfort room and then he saw
Paco with the girl, Paco saw him too and called him)
Paco Garcia: (looks surprise) “Slater Zhou ikaw na ba
yan…?”
Slater: (looks surprise) “Paco…Paco Garcia…?”
(Then Slater approached them and then Paco offers his
hand for a hand shake and taps his back)
The Girlfriend: (looks lost) “Magkakilala kayo…?”
Paco Garcia: (looks happy) “Oo naman…mag klakalase kami
mula 1st year to 4th year high school kaya lang ngka
hiwalay kami nun college kasi ibang kurso ang kinuha niya, siya ng Civil
Engineering habang ako naman kumuha ng Mass Communication major in Film and
Television…
Slater: “Oo nga pare ang tagal na nating hindi ng
kita…girlfriend mo?” (Pointing at the girl)
(The girl smiled and nodded at him)
Paco: “Sorry pare…my bad…girlfriend ko nga pala si Lovely
Anne Baron, klalase kami sa college then ngka developan at ngayon four years na
kaming magkasintahan…”
Slater: “Talaga pare…so bakit four years lang…?”
Lovely: “Eh kasi Slater nagging boyfriend ko na si Paco
fourth year college na kami habang ginagawa naming ang aming thesis…paano kami
kasi ang pi -nair up ng professor naming…kaya ayun…” (Smiled and looked at
Paco)
Slater: “So me plano na ba kayong magpa kasal…? Ang tagal
nyo na eh…?”
(Paco and Lovely looked at each other and smiled)
Paco: “Actually pare…engaged na kami….we will be tying
the knot December 8 of next year…punta ka ha invited ka oh and isama mo na rin
si Divine…speaking of Divine…naging kayo na ba…?”
Slater: (forced a smile) “hindi bro…wala pa nga akong GF
eh pano naman kasi yung babaeng gusto ko eh babae rin ang gusto eh…”
Paco: (looks with disbelief) “Ano…si Divina…naging
lesbian…?”
(Then Slater nodded his head)
Paco: “Ibang klase…so paano ka na ngayon pare…?”
Slater: “Okey lang naman tanggap ko naman kung sino
siya…”
Paco: “Sorry to hear that bro…maybe she is not meant for
you…you deserve someone better than her…sige bro alis na kami…”
Lovely: “Bye slater” (extends her hand)…nice meeting
you…”
(Then they went their way, camera shots his back as he
looks at them exit the restaurant, then he did not let go of their sight and
followed them then he saw Paco opened the passenger front seat of the Pink
Customized Porsche and he saw her opened the driver seat…it took a while but
then he realized that the car parked next to him was hers.)
(Slater sat at the chair facing the door his table is
near to that of Wendy as he is waiting for his friend to arrive)
(Then Slater thought of the call and imagined her)
Flash Back
(Divine on the Phone: “Slater let us meet at our favorite
restaurant at THE LOOP inside the ABS-CBN Compound…okay bye see yah”)
(Then all of a sudden Divine showed up alone and waved at
him as she was walking towards him and then he stands up and they kiss each
other on the cheeks then she seats in front of him as he takes his seat as well)
(Camera shot moving to their right side with both of
their faces in the frame of the camera)
Divine: (smiles and looks happy to see him) “Sorry to
call you in such a short notice”
Slater: (Smiles at her) “Alam mo naman basta ikaw, I
would always have time”
Divine: (looks like she wants to giggle) (she bit her
lower lip as she looks at him) “Thanks Slater”
Slater: (Smiles) “so where is Tine I thought she too will
be coming too…?”
Divine: (looks sad) “Her dad fetches her and they went to
Nasugbu, Batangas and I cannot do anything about it because it is her dad after
all and I do not want her father hate me so I just called you to spend time
with you…”
Slater: “Paano bay an gutom na ako…ikaw kumain ka na ba?”
Divine: “(Smiles) “Hindi pa nga Slater eh…gutom na rin
ako…order na tayo…”
(Slater waves at the waiter and the waiter carried the
menu and approached them)
Kigoy the Waiter: (carries a pen and order slip) “Hello
maam…hello sir…I’m Kigoy and I would be your waiter for today…ano po ba ang
order ninyo?”
Slater: (holding the menu and looking at the short
orders) “hmmm…bigyan mo na lang ko ng two pieces of fried chicken with rice and ice
tea…how about you Divine what do you want…?” (looks at Divine)
Divine: (looks at the menu) “…hmmm me I would be having a
beef steak with mushroom gravy and rice with bottomless ice tea…” (then smiles
at slater)
Slater: (smirks) “mukhang hindi halatang gutom ka ah…?”
Divine: “kaw talaga…you know that I eat a lot…” (Then
they both laugh)
(After a few minutes, the waiter is now carrying the tray
with their order on it)
(Cross-dissolve to them eating)
Divine: “hmm this is delicious…do you want to try some…?”
Slater: “Yes please” (at sinubo ni Divine ang kutsara kay
Slater) “Hmmm masarap nga siya eh yung sa akin gusto mong tikman…?”
Divine: (smiles at him) “sige ba patikim…” (At sinubo
naman ni Slater and kutsara kay Divine) “masarap nga lalo na kung e halo mo
siya sa gravy…”
(After they finish eating)
Divine: (me napansin sa lips ni slater) (camera zooms in
his lips then zooms out revealing his face) “Slater you have a piece of rice in
your mouth”
Slater: (looks surprise) “Ah talaga meron..?”
Divine: (leans over him and looks at his face) “Never
mind I’ll do it…” (And removes it with a piece of tissue)
Slater: (looks shy) “Thanks Divine…”
Divine: (looks shy also and bit her lower lip) “No
problem Slater…”
(Then after eating Slater waved at the waiter to get
their bill)
(Then the waiter gave them their bill)
(Slater reached
his back as and pulls out his wallet and Divine did the same thing)
Slater: “No let me…”
Divine: “No let me…”
Slater: “No I insist…”
Divine: “Alright… thanks Slater…”
(Then he their bill and went out of their way)
(Camera at their back showing his right hand on her
shoulder and her left hand in his waist and them both exited the restaurant and
went to the parking lot)
(Cross-dissolve to them standing at the Blue BMW
Convertible of Slater)
(Fade out)
